Schedule and Timing:

The Maramon Convention is usually held from the second Sunday in February till the 3rd Sunday of February which often coincides with the first week of the great lent. The discourse sessions on each day start at 10 am, 2 pm and 5 pm. 

Description:

Maramon convention, which has a history of 125 years is one of the oldest and biggest Christian conventions in India. It is organised by the Mar Thoma Evangelistic Association, the missionary organisation of the Malankara Mar Thoma Syrian Church.

Each year several noted preachers from different Christian denominations, mostly from the protestant communities around the World, come and share the Gospel to the large crowds present at the venue.

From 2019 onward, the night conventions will be held at Mar Thoma Church Kozhenchery instead of the Pampa river sand bed.

The morning conventions will begin with the Choir Ministry at 10 am and end at 12 pm. The afternoon conventions will begin at 2 pm and end at 3.30 pm. The evening sessions will begin with the choir ministry at 5 pm and end at 6.30 pm.

The children's conventions led by CSSM will be held from 7.30 am Monday to Saturday, at the Cheriya Pandal. The Bible classes for the adults will be held at the convention venue at the same time.

Hymn singing is a major highlight of the Maramon Convention. Each year a new hymn book with collection of 101 songs which has old as well as new songs, are printed.

KSRTC will run special services during the days of the convention.
