The Sopanam Vadyolsavam is held in the month of May.
Description:Sopanam Vadyolsavam, the anniversary festival of the Sopanam School of Panchavadyam is a musical event where 35 different musical ensembles are performed at the same stage.
The festivities befin with a Vilambara Ghoshayathra on the evening prior to the Inauguration day. This is a cultural procession beginning from the Edappal Pattambi road.
The Vadyolsavam inaugural day begins at 9 am with the Sopana Sangeetham followed by a cultural meeting.

Exhibition of different traditional Kerala musical instruments are held. Seminars and cultural processions are also held. Senior musicians are honoured during the event.
