Australian World Orchestra AWO a team of renowned artists led by Alexander Briger is set to play for the first time in Kochi. AWO established in 2009 is a team of about 50 top-notch artists who perform at a global level.
It is the first time in Kochi that a western orchestra of International repute will be performing. It is the second tour of Alexander Briger and the AWO in India, the first being in 2015 along with Zubin Mehta.
AWO will donate a part of the proceeds to the Centre of Autism India at Thiruvalla. They will also be performing exclusively for children with Autism on 26th which is a by invitation only event.
The team will perform in Chennai prior to Kochi and then at Mumbai which will be the last program in this leg.
