60th Annual flower show of the Delhi University at the North Delhi Campus Mughal Gardens of the University on 23rd February 2018. Competitions will be held for various category of exhibitors. The Flower Show is open to all Colleges, Institutions and Departments of the University of Delhi as well as other Government and Public Educational Institutions of Delhi, New Delhi and to all persons serving in any of the above institutions.

Important Dates

Exhibition of Potted plants, Cut flowers and table decorations at Mughal Gardens of the DU: 23rd February 2018 12 PM - 5 PM

Receipt of Entry Forms latest by 2.00 pm. On February 13, 2018

Judging of Gardens, Lawns, Shrubs, etc. February 15-19, 2018

Potted Plants : Latest by 9.30 a.M. On February 22, 2018

Cut Flowers and Table Decorations : Latest by 9.30 am on February 23, 2018

Competitors have to submit Entry Forms duly filled along with the appropriate ENTRY FEE to The Secretary, Flower Show committee, Garden Committee Office, University of Delhi, Delhi-110007. Additional Entry Forms can be obtained from the Garden Committee Office.

Exhibitor Categories

The entries to the Flower Show shall be under the following categories:

  1. Category A: Colleges, University Institutions, Senior Secondary Schools, other such Educational Institutions and Horticulture  department of the NCR.
  2. Category B: Private gardens maintained solely by the members of Institutions other than Heads of Institutions such as Principals, Provosts, etc. Whose gardens are maintained by institutions and gardeners (Malis).
  3. Category C: Colleges, University Institutions, Senior Secondary Schools, other such Educational Institutions and Horticulture Department of the NCR.
  4. Category D: Ladies associated with Educational Institutions.
  5. Category E: Students of Schools (under 17 years).
  6. Category F: Malis associated with Educational Institutions.

Colleges, Principals and Heads of Institutions (including those of Halls, Hostels, etc.) whose gardens are maintained by the Institutions can compete only in Categories A and C: and not in B.
