Description:INA Dilli Haat at Kidwai Nagar, opposite INA Market in South Delhi, is an open-air market for handicrafts from various states of India. Though an open market, it is a much-planned structure with solid foundations and base construction. In spite of this, it gives the feel of an Indian Village market or 'haat'. It covers an area of about 6 acres with more than 60 handicraft stalls and 25 food stalls.
Dilli Haat Shopping
Unlike a regular market and barring a few exceptions, the sellers keep changing at the Dilli Haat. It is more like an exhibition cum sale of Indian Handicrafts. Specialised stalls that sell indigenous items from each state are present. The stalls are usually allotted for 15 days on rotational basis for a nominal rent. This ensures freshness, variety and low costs.
Shopping at Dilli Haat Craft Market is an enjoyable experience as one gets to appreciate the skill of the Indian village craftsmen on wood, leather, fabrics, metals, gems etc., at its various stalls. Products include handicrafts, antiques, jewellery, fashion wears, carpets, footwear, and furniture.
Food Stalls in Dilli Haat
Another major attraction is the food court where you can get a variety of food from various parts of India. These food stalls are generally operated by the tourism departments of the respective states. Visitors can savour delicacies from North Eastern states like Manipur and Nagaland to the Western state of Gujarat, and from Jammu Kashmir in the North to Tamil Nadu in the South.
The ambience of the Dilli Haat makes it an excellent hangout place for the local population and is a must visit place for tourists.
Cultural events in the open stage are also a regular part of Dilli Haat.

It is well connected by Delhi Metro with INA station on the yellow line of Metro, being the nearest station. J K Emporium art gallery, Vinay Nagar Kali Mandir and Sanjay Lake park are placed about 500 metres from INA Dilli Haat. INA food and vegetable Market, Sarojini Nagar Dress Market, Hauz Khas District Park, Lodhi Garden, Ansal Plaza Mall are other areas of attraction.
With its success, two other Dilli Haats, Pitampura Dilli Haat on North west Delhi and Janakpuri Dilli Haat on West Delhi were also opened.
