Dharamshala Film Festival is held annually in the October / November months.
Description:The picturesque Dharamshala is the home to the Dharamshala International Film Festival. The festival started in 2012 has grown by leaps and bounds in the recent years.
The festival is an initiative of Ritu Sarin and Tenzing Sonam of White Crane Films. The idea is to bring contemporary cinema to this part of the country.
This is a no-frills film festival where there are no jury and awards. There are no competition categories.
Film entries are by invitation only. Feature films, short films and documentaries are screened at the DIFF.
Tickets / Registration:Delegate registration usually costs Rs 1000. Online registration available.
