IAWRT Asian Women's Film Festival is held annually in the month of March.
Description:IAWRT or the International Association of Women in Radio and Television, Asian Women's Film Festival will screen films in the following genre.
- Feature films
- Documentaries
- Short films
- Animation
- Experimental
- Student films
However, it is required that at least one of the directors should be a woman of Asian origin. No restriction is kept with regard to theme, duration or the genre. Films made between October 2016 and September 2018 are eligible for entry.
The film festival was started in 2005 with the Asian chapter of IAWRT being its organisers.
