Kochi Muziris Biennale foundation has announced Anita Dube as the curator of the Biennale 2018. Anita Dube is a well-known proponent of contemporary art, primarily working on sculptures, photography, art installations and performances.

Kochi Biennale, an International exhibition of contemporary art, is the flagship event of the KMB Foundation. Kochi Muziris Biennale 2018 will be held from 12th December 2018 to 29th March 2019, at various locations in and around Kochi. 

This edition of Kochi Biennale, according to its curator Anita Dube will focus on exploring the "Possibilities for a Non-Alienated Life".

As much as nine venues will hold the various art installations of Kochi Biennale 2018 with the Aspinwall House in Fort Kochi being the main venue. This will be the fourth edition of Biennale Kochi which started in 2012. 

Various cultural programs, as well as Students Biennale, which showcases works of Fine Arts Students, will also be a part of the Biennale 2018.

Jithish Kallat who curated the second edition of KMB will be back for this edition as a participating artist.

About a 100 artists will participate in KMB 2018 with their art installations. The last Biennale held in 2016 had about 6 lakh visitors.
