6th Malabar River Festival and International kayaking competition will be held at Thusharagiri in Kozhikode. The five-day meet will have 25 teams participating. The Malabar River festival is among the top adventure sports events in the country.
Kayakers from twenty countries including Germany, Italy, France, Spain, England, Scotland, Indonesia, New Zealand, Australia, Norway, Nepal, Malaysia, Singapore, Czheck republic, Austria, Netherlands, USA and Canada will be competing in the championship.
The festival is conducted in one of the most naturally beautiful rives of Kerala, the Chalippuzha River. River festival competitions will be held for Indian nationals in different categories like beginners, experts, special category etc.
Woodland and GoPro are the official sponsors of the event.
The program is organised by the District Tourism Promotion Council.
