The Taj Mahotsav is held annually from the 18th to 27th of February.
Description:The Taj Mahotsav is a festival of Culture, Cuisines, Fun Fair, Arts and Craft at Shilpgram, a venue near to the eastern gate of Taj Mahal. This cultural tourism festival started in 1992 and had become a prominent tourism festival in the country.
The Taj Mahotsav will have folk and classical art performances by leading artists and performers. It is also a complete family entertainment with a lot of fun activities for children at the fun-fair.
Visitors also get a chance to buy authentic handicrafts by Indian artisans without getting into a tourist trap.
The event is organised by the Taj Mahotsav Samiti, UP Tourism Department.
Tickets / Registration:Taj Mahotsav entry fee is Rs 50 per person above 10 years. Rs. 10 for children between 5 - 10 years and free for children below the age of 5. Entry is free for foreign tourists. For more information call +91-562-2226431 / 2233056
