Description:Feast of St Sebastian is celebrated at St Andrews Basilica at Arthunkal, a beautiful coastal area, about 7 Km from Cherthala in Alappuzha district. It is also called Arthunkal Makaram thirunnal.
The 2019 Arthunkal Perunal is the 373 annual Perunnal at this basilica church. On the main festival day which is January 20th, a grand procession carrying the statue of St Sebastian is taken to the seashore and back.
