The antique Shiva temple is an important pilgrimage centre for the worshippers of Shiva. It is visited by the Bava nagas or the naked Sadhus during the occasion of the Maha Shivarathri.
Dance, wrestling and martial arts along with other entertainments add to the fun. The events are held on the grounds close to the temple.
