Utsavam at Thiru Venkitachalapathy Temple starts on the Punartham Asterisk of Medam. Uthsava Bali on 4th day, Pallivetta on 5th day and arattu on the 6th day. This usually falls in April/May.
Description:The Utsavam at the Thiruvenkitam temple starts with Brahma Kalasabhishekam. The power of the deity is rejuvenated with tantric rites. The Ararru procession is held on the final day.
Apart from the Religious rituals, cultural programs like Bharatanatyam and Kuchipudi are also held on the festival days. Annadanam is done on all days of the festival.
