The Gothuruth Fest is held on the 31st of December and 1st of January.
Description:Gothuruthu fest a two-day festival celebrated in the small island of Gothuruth is organised by the Gothuruth Muziris Heritage Development and Charitable Society.
A fair is conducted at the St Sebastian's Church on the festivals days. Food stalls, exhibitions and stage programs are part of the festival. Chavittunatakam, a popular art form along the coastal areas of Kochi is also staged.
A carnival rally is held on the 1st of January. The cultural procession starts from the west end of the island and ends at St Sebastian's Church which is the main venue of the festival.
