The Neyyar Mela is held annually during the Onam season every year.

Description:

Neyyar Mela is a local trade fair and Onam celebration at Neyyattinkara organised by the Kerala Samsthana Vyapara Vyavasaya Samithi.

The mela however is more than a trade fair. The following programs are also held as a part of the Neyyar Mela.

  • Samskarika Ghosha Yathra (Cultural Parade)
  • Food festival
  • Sports and games
  • Medical camps
  • Fun Rides
  • The Mela promotes harmony among the people. Local businesses get a venue to showcase their products as well.
