The Kalarcode Arattu is held in the Malayalam month of Thulam which is October/November.
Description:The Kalarcode Mahadeva temple dedicated to Lord Siva celebrates its Thiru Utsavam or the eight-day Arattu. The idol of the presiding deity is taken out for Ararttu or the Holy bath on the final day.
Various cultural events and temple arts are performed on the days of the preceding the Arattu. Kalarcode is about 4 km from Alappuzha Town.
