A week long carnival will be held at Nakshtra Thadakam at Malayattor Adivaram from 25th Dec to Dec 31st 2017. The formal inauguration and countdown start was done by Roji M John MLA.
From 25 December to one week there will be cultural and entertaining events staged by different professional
troops, clubs and artists.
Illumination, Boating, Exhibitions, Amusement park, Tradeshow and stage show are all a part of this grand carnival.
The programs will be staged on a huge platform (24x20 feet) built adjacent to the lake.
Each day the lighting of the lamp ceremony will be done in the presence of prominent celebrities and cultural, religious and political leaders.
Malayattoor is one of the most visited tourist as well as pilgrimage centre in Kerala. It is the 'ooru' (land) between 'mala' (mountain) and 'aaru' (river). Manappaattuchira lake is at the foot of the Malayattoor hill and is a naturally beautiful place.
