President's Trophy Boat Race is held yearly on the 1st of November which is the Kerala Piravi Day, at 2.30 pm.
Description:The prestigious President's Trophy boat race in the Kollam Ashtamudi Kayal was incepted in the year 2011. The trophy is instituted in the name of the President of India.
The race begins from near the Thevally Palace and the finishing point is at the houseboat terminal with a total track length of 1250 metres. Races would be held in various categories like Chundan, Veppu Vallam and Iruttu Kuthi.
