Mass timings 

Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday -  5.30am

Tuesday - 5:00 pm, Friday - 5.00pm Mass followed by Holy Hour

Thursday - 7.30am

Sundays - 7:20 am, 10:00 am (Konkani – Chapters Mass), 4:00 pm - Our Lady of Necessities Novena followed by mass.

Description:

Se cathedral is open for visitors from 7.30 am to 6.00 pm. It is important to be properly attired while visiting the Church. Inappropriately dressed visitors may be asked to leave.

Se Cathedral named after St. Catherine of Alexandria is the Cathedral of the Arch Bishop of Goa and Daman. The Church was built to commemorate the victory of Alfonso de Albuquerque in capturing Goa which happened to be the feast of Saint Catherine in 1510. The construction of the present structure began in 1562. The Church was consecrated in the year 1640.

Se cathedral Architecture

It is built on the Portuguese - Manueline architecture combined with late Gothic Style. The exteriors follow a Tuscan Order while the interiors follow the Corinthian order of the classic Roman architecture. Length is 250 feet and width is 181 feet.
