Description:Sula Vineyards is at Nashik, about 3 Hours from Mumbai and is probably the most popular vineyards in the country. The place is situated near the Gangapur Dam area. The presence of many vineyards in the area has made Nashik the 'Cradle of Indian Wine'. About 80% of the branded wine produced in the country, comes from Nashik.
Started in 1999 by Rajeev Samant, the vineyard now spreads across an area of 3,000 acres. They are home to some of India's finest grapes and the latest innovations and technology in viticulture.
A tour at this vineyard will take you through the different stages of winemaking and wine stomping is an experience not to miss at this place.
At the end of the tour, you get to know about wine tasting and experience a variety of wines from their Tasting Cellar.
Tickets / Registration:Rs 400 for the tour inside the vineyard and tasting of 6 varieties of wines and Rs 150 for a tour without wine tasting. A charge of Rs 100 is levied at the entry which can be redeemed against food and wine spends at the outlets.
