The Chariot Festival at Azheekal Varaha temple is held in the month of Chaithram and usually falls in April. The day's programs as follows.
- 8.30 am - Melam
- 11.30 am - Abhishekam
- 12.30 pm - Nadaswara Kacheri
- 2 pm - Pallakku Pooja
- 3 pm - Garuda Vahana Pooja
- Ratholsavam in the evening
- 8.30 pm - Panchavadyam
Arattu on the following day morning at 3 am.
Description:The Chariot festival at Sree Varaha Swamy temple is part of the Chithramasa Utsavam that lasts about a week. The Ratholsavam is followed by Arattu on the early morning of the following day.
The chariots are pulled by the devotees and run over the rails installed around the temple.
