The Malabar International Kite flying competition is held in the month of April/May. The event is held from the 3 pm to 9 pm.
Description:The Malabar Kite Festival is organised by the District Tourism Promotion Council and Bekal Resorts Development Corporation. It attracts hundreds of Kite Flying teams across the country and outside.
Cultural and entertainment events like kathakali, Singari Melam, Oppana, Margam Kali, Ganamela, Magic Show, Fire Dance, Sand Art add to the festive mood at the Kite Flying Festival.
