The annual Nercha or the Andu Nercha is held in the month of Muharram.
Koottasiyarat followed by Flag Hoisting at 4 pm on the starting day.
Islamic religious speeches at 7 pm on the following days.
Annadanam from 8.30 am to 1.30 pm on the concluding day.
Description:Mamburam Maqam is a famous Muslim pilgrimage centre and the site of the tomb of Sayyid Hussain ibn Alabi Jiffer Thangal, also called the Mampuram Thangal.
Various Islamic scholars deliver talks as a part of the week-long festival.
Mampuram or Mamburam is about a kilometre distance from Tirurangadi in Malappuram district.
