The Manjeshwar Shashti is celebrated in the month of Margashirsha as per the HIndu calendar which is November/December. The festival lasts seven days.

Description:

Pulling off the Brahmarath or the six-wheeled Chariot of Lord Anantheshwar is an annual celebration at Srimath Anantheshwar Temple, Manjeshwaram. The Manjeshwar Shashti as it is called attract a large number of devotees who take part in the ritual of pulling the Rath or the Chariot.

The temple is dedicated to Shiva along with Anantha the Serpent.
