The Udiyannoor Pongala Mahotsavam is held on the Punartham asterisk of the month of Medam. Pongala on held on the fifth day while the arattu is held on the last day of the 10 day festival at the temple.
Description:The ten-day festival at Sree Udiyannoor Devi temple starts with Kodiyettu. It is also called the Medapunartha Festival since it is held in the Punartha asterisk of Medam.
Annadanam is held in the afternoon, Thalapoli in the evening and night Chirappu is also conducted.
